Mr John Callinan - Assistant Secretary at the Department of the Taoiseach

John Callinan is Head of the Economic and International Division, having previously headed the European Union and International Affairs Division following his appointment as Assistant Secretary in June 2007. Prior to this Mr Callinan held a number of senior positions in the Department of the Taoiseach, including as Principal Officer in charge of the Economic Policy Unit.

He also spent four years at the European Commission working on taxation issues and has also held a number of posts at the Revenue Commissioners.
