National Statistics Board Consultation
The National Statistics Board (NSB) is tasked with guiding the broad strategic direction of the CSO and establishing priorities for the development of official statistics in Ireland (Statistics Act 1993).
Preparation for the next NSB Strategy, for the period 2021-2026, is currently underway and stakeholders are invited to participate in this consultation to assist the Board in mapping the strategic plan for official statistics in Ireland over the next five years.
The legal basis for the processing of responses to this survey is GDPR Article 6(1)(f).
The results will be used by the NSB and NSB Secretary to assist in their work of compiling the NSB Strategy 2021-2026 which will outline the strategic direction of official statistics in Ireland for that period.
It should be noted that information you provide as part of this consultation may be subject to Freedom of Information requests. This does not however apply to personal data, which will remain confidential and will not be shared.
The NSB reserve the right to publish the names of the organisations who have participated.
The information you provide in this consultation will be held for a maximum period of seven years from the date of issue.
